More than half of Tiburon’s community emissions comes from transportation. While improvements in fuel efficiency have driven emissions down over the past several years, vehicle miles traveled starting and/or ending in Mill Valley are still a large concern. • Use 511 to plan your trips and see real time data of transit schedules and traffic 
• Take the SMART Train which travels between Larkspur and Sonoma County Airport. 
• The Golden Gate Ferry transports passengers across the Bay between Tiburon and downtown San Francisco. The ride is fantastic - even for leisure riders!

2.  Drive an all-electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle

3. Shut your car off when waiting in line such as at the school pick up/drop off lane
