Zero Waste Marin aims to help Marin County achieve its zero-waste goals by providing education and outreach to residents and businesses on waste reduction, recycling, composting and safe waste disposal.
The Zero Waste Marin Local Task Force (LTF) now has a vacancy for a public member. The LTF serves as an advisory body to the Zero Waste Marin JPA Board of Directors and provides guidance on emerging solid waste issues and assists in the review of the Integrated Waste Management Plan.
To help ensure your availability to participate, interested individuals should note that the LTF meets every other month on the first Thursday of the month from 10am to 11am. Appointment to this vacancy will be considered by the JPA Board. Interested applicants are encouraged to view past Agendas and Minutes online to see how a typical LTF meeting is conducted.
