The Town Council is now accepting applications from Tiburon residents that would like to serve on the Belvedere-Tiburon Joint Recreation ("The Ranch") Committee. The person appointed will serve until 2/28/2024 and will be eligible for reappointment to another term at that time.
The Committee is formed under a Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Belvedere and the Town of Tiburon and is comprised of an equal number of Belvedere and Tiburon residents, a Reed Union School District Trustee, and a member of each city council. The purpose of the Committee is to oversee the Joint Recreation Department mission to provide quality recreational and educational programs that inspire and enrich the lives of children and adults in the community while maintaining a self-supporting agency. The Committee meets monthly.
