According to the Marin County Elections Department, ballots for the November 3 General Election have been sent to all active registered voters in Marin County as required by California Assembly Bill 860, and mail ballot voting is taking place at the Elections Department in San Rafael.
Vote-by-mail ballots may be mailed or dropped off at one of several Elections Department Ballot Boxes located throughout the County. A list of drop boxes is printed in the voter information guide, but the most up-to-date list of drop boxes is posted at www.marinvotes.org.
You can also drop your ballot off at any polling place beginning October 31. Polling places in Marin County will be open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on October 31 - November 2, and from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Election Day (November 3). Voters can check their polling place by signing in to the Voter Information Portal at www.marinvotes.org.
