Duties & Purpose
The Parks, Open Space & Trails Commission serves as the Bicycle-Pedestrian Advisory Committee of the Town. The Commission reviews the Tiburon Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan and makes recommendations to the Planning Commission and Town Council regarding updates to the Plan. The Commission also submits periodic recommendations to the Planning Commission and Town Council on matters of policy pertaining to park and/or open space lands.

Members of the Parks, Open Space and Trails Commission are appointed officers identified in the Town of Tiburon's Conflict of Interest Code; as such, they file statements of economic interest (Form 700) with the Town Clerk's office. Copies of the statements of economic interests filed by the members of the Parks, Open Space and Trails Commission may be obtained by visiting the Town Clerk's office at 1505 Tiburon Boulevard, Tiburon, CA 94920. Beginning in 2019, the statements of economic interest will also be available in electronic format on the Town's online portal.
