The Town of Tiburon’s Heritage & Arts Commission is pleased to present The Poetic Landscape in Ink Art, featuring the masterful works of acclaimed artist Zhong Yueying at the Tiburon Town Hall from May 1 to June 26, 2025. Born in Heilongjiang, China, Zhong earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees from Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, where he now serves as a guest professor. His artwork has been exhibited at prestigious institutions across China, the United States, South Korea, and Taiwan, including Tsinghua University Art Museum, Saint Louis University Museum of Art, and Taiwan University of Arts. A prolific scholar and author of four books including "Charm & Style" and "The Original Art Creation," Zhong has received international recognition with awards such as the Wu Zuoren International Fine Art Exchange Foundation Award and the Special Overseas Grand Prize at the Asian International Ink and Brush Painting Exhibition in Tokyo. Meet this distinguished Marin-based artist at the opening reception on May 6 from 6 to 9 PM. All are welcome to this free event celebrating Zhong's poetic interpretation of landscape through the expressive medium of ink art.
