The Town Council will receive the annual report on Tiburon’s Climate Action Plan (CAP) at its meeting on Wednesday, May 21.
The Climate Action Plan outlines strategies to reach the Town’s goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 50% below 1990 levels. The CAP was adopted in 2022 and helps us understand how the local community contributes to climate change and what actions make the biggest impact.
The report will provide an update on progress toward these goals and highlight ongoing sustainability programs, including efforts on transportation, building electrification, waste reduction, and more.
