"Hi, I am Kiana I am 10 years old and I am the founder of the soon-to-be foundation, Grateful Planet. I have put together Grateful Planet in hopes of creating a foundation, based on helping the environment. There are two branches of Grateful Planet so far number one is The Washington Court Clean Up Crew during the summer. I had an idea to make a cleanup crew go to the park and clean it up every other month. I ended up putting together a neighborhood, cleanup crew I named The Washington Court Clean Up Crew, and it consists of 30 people, and we already had our first cleanup at Blackies Pasture with over a dozen people who were able to make it. When I say branches, I mean like the branches of our government that was just one of the branches, the second one is the Save the Earth project or step just like taking a step in the right direction. Steps goal is to spread the news of Grateful Planet. Eventually, I'm going to put together a website and an Instagram account. I'm going to take my entire school to Angel Island to clean up that park, and other parts of step are collaborating with other people like how I am collaborating with the Town of Tiburon to share this message. Those are two branches and the last section is my inspiration. Most of my inspiration was just from myself thinking about how I wanted to help the environment and a part of it was also because of my parent's business called The Grateful Dog a doggy daycare boarding and training center where we would do park cleanups and I would participate in a lot of them. I'm also a part of our school green team I host presentations in front of the entire school which consists of around 300 people, and I clean up our school area, free of trash, and many other things that I could name."
