Establishing a designated Walk/Roll Day at your school keeps the momentum going after International Walk and Roll to School Day. Students and families have a designated day each week, such as Walk/Roll Wednesdays.
This is a great way to ingrain walking/bicycling into your school culture. Fun themes help make the enthusiasm for walking and rolling a year-long treat. It can also be a catalyst to encourage weekly walk and roll days, walking school buses, and bike trains.
